Have a look with us at Futura Basura’s Second Exhibition, that happened in Barcelona, at Perros Mediterràneos, from Oct 3 to Nov 12, 2024.
The space was filled with prints & fine art prints from artists as Fátima Moreno, Bigote Sucio, Marta Beltrán, Typografischer Sport, Riitta Värinen, Paloma Blanco, Alexander Medel, Carmen B. Mikelarena, Mitya Tereshkov and Futura Basura.
Futura Basura is a playful and experimental creative space that emerged in 2019 as an alternative to a more commercial work model. We generate our own content and explore different forms of collaboration with artists and visual creator entities from all over the world. A platform open to new experiences of visual culture, which explores the limits of the poster as an experimental medium. Futura Basura is also the result of an initial and recurrent reflection on the ephemeral nature of existence, the value of objects in consumer society, and the differences between the copy and the original.
